This was never meant to see the light, 2026
Single-channel video, colour, sound, 06’17’’

The work explores desire as a form of projection within digitally mediated space. The other does not appear as a real presence, but as a technological shadow composed of images, traces, and interfaces. The video follows a woman as she reconstructs a figure of longing through public records, navigates possible locations via Street View, and feeds her desire through algorithmic fantasies. The narrative unfolds as a fragmented video flow set on the desktop and guided by an intimate monologue. Search rituals, digital wandering, and layered interfaces intertwine with suspended images drawn from online visual culture, from pornography to AI-generated figures, revealing how desire is shaped and intensified through technological mediation. Framed by an atmosphere inspired by the artificial and nostalgic iconography of Florida, the film inhabits the internal logic of digital limerence: a space where obsession, fantasy, and reality gradually collapse into one another under the seductive pull of the interface.
